Medical Work Experience for Elementary School Students in the Community
Members of the Student Group of the Community Contribution held a hands-on event for elementary school students in the community titled “Various Jobs in the Medical Field”.
The event included an introduction to tools used by nurses, such as a stethoscope, a hand-washing lesson, wheelchair operation, simulated experience for the visually impaired, and experience playing boccia, an official sport of the Paralympic Games.
Students led the event and provided elementary school students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the work of medical and welfare professionals trained at the university.
